Job summary

At Home Healthcare of Middle Tennessee is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist clients with daily living activities in their homes across Tennessee, with flexible scheduling and a rewarding, impact-driven role.

No experience? Training for certification is provided at no cost. Pay is $15.00-$17.00 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, voluntary insurance, paid time off, and parental leave. We value respect, safety, and compassionate service in every visit.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, cooking, and providing personal care services.
• Willingness to adhere to health, safety, confidentiality, and other company standards.
• Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds with the physical capability to perform job duties.
• Compassionate, respectful, and supportive of all persons.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities they cannot complete alone (ambulation, dressing, hygiene, feeding).
• Help with mobility around the house or during doctor visits and walks.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with serving/eating.
• Complete shopping or accompany clients to shop.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents to the office immediately.

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals and, in some cases, assist the client in serving and eating the meals.
• Complete client's shopping or accompany them to do so successfully.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents to the office immediately.
