Responsibilities
Provide non-medical, in-home care and personal care to clients. This can include, but is not limited to the following duties:

• Meal preparation -- cooking nutritionally balanced meals based on the client's individual requirements.
• Light housekeeping -- cleaning floors, vacuuming carpets, surface cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms and furniture, linen change.
• Laundry -- washing, drying, ironing, folding.
• Companionship care -- visiting, talking, reading, walks, activities, etc.
• Errand services -- grocery shopping, dry-cleaning, etc.
• Transportation to appointments -- doctor, hair salon, etc.
• Personal care -- assist with personal hygiene, bathing, incontinence care, toileting.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates for this position must:

• Be compassionate, honest, caring and reliable.
• Have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Must have reliable transportation.
• Be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Experience as a nursing assistant in home care or in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program is not required but is helpful.
• Be able to pass the following: Pre-employment drug screen, random drug screens, PPD testing prior to employment.
• Be able to physically assist with client transfers.
