Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team in Kentucky. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, meals, and daily living activities for clients in their homes with a friendly, can-do attitude.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in healthcare or in-home care, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for nights and weekends. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly or recovering clients.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications and ambulation.
• Assist with mobility inside and outside the home.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises and shopping tasks.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report incidents promptly and act in emergencies.
• Support daily living activities, including meals and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients with a reminder to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercisesComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
