Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with daily activities in their own homes around Casey, IL. The role involves traveling to client homes in and around Casey.

Part-time hours with flexible scheduling are available. Prior healthcare or in-home care experience is preferred, but training is offered. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Available to work nights and weekends.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Hoyer Lift experience may be required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA/SRNA/HHA completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, help with meals).
• Offer companionship and one-on-one support.
• Remind clients to take medications and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility to appointments, errands, and walks.
• Plan and prepare meals; perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and report incidents promptly.

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with their daily activities in the comfort of their own home. The position will require Caregivers traveling to and from the client(s) home in and around Casey, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Companionship

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, errands, walks etc.)

• Plan and prepare meals

• Assist with physical therapy exercise

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

• Use common sense principals

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Timeliness and self-discipline

• Availability to meet client needs as requested

• Dependability

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

$17.50- $19.50 per Hour
