Job summary

Oakmont of El Dorado Hills, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Care Provider/Caregiver to assist residents in daily activities in El Dorado Hills, CA. Part-time PM shift (2:00 PM–10:15 PM), Mon-Wed, with benefits and a focus on independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include ADL support, timely response to resident needs, and safe, compassionate care within a five-star community. Training provided; background checks and health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while protecting dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with coworkers and other departments.

Pay Range: $17.00-$18.00/hour

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
