Job summary

Belmont Village San Ramon is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will assist with daily activities, promote social engagement, and maintain high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in caregiving is preferred. English communication is essential, and all offers are contingent on post-employment screenings. Various shifts include weekends, with open interviews held weekly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Experience as a primary caregiver or related training.
• Professional, pleasant, and team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable attendance is essential.
• Post-offer screenings including background check, drug screen, TB test.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living for residents.
• Promote socialization and safe participation in activities.
• Document and report daily care and changes to supervisors.
• Maintain high standards of care, safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide assistance with toileting, hygiene, and incontinence care.
• Prioritize hospitality and resident satisfaction in interactions.

Part-time Saturday-Monday OR Friday/Saturday/Monday 6:30AM-2:45PM

Part-time Friday/Saturday 2:30PM-10:45PM

Full-time Friday-Monday 2:30PM-10:45PM

Every Tuesday, 1:00 PM-3:00 PM

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Belmont Village Caregiver, you will provide hands-on care to a group of seniors living within our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. The ideal Caregiver candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. Caregivers excel in a fast-paced, active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age. While a C.N.A license is not required to be a Caregiver at Belmont Village, we welcome applicants with a Certified Nursing Assistant license or relevant caregiving experience.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community


• Promote socialization and inspire participation in community activities while prioritizing resident safety and well-being


• Document and maintain accurate records of daily care and services provided and promptly report any observed changes to supervisors


• Uphold high standards of care, safety, cleanliness and regulatory compliance


• Provide hands-on assistance with toileting, hygiene and incontinence care as needed


• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age


• High School diploma or equivalent


• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English


• Experience as a primary caregiver or relevant training as a care provider


• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude


• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
