Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of residents' daily lives, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Communicate appropriately with branch clinical leadership about residents' changing needs.
• Approach and care for residents with dementia effectively.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED; or one-year related experience.
• Willing to complete the Certified Nurse Aide course within six months of hire.
• Willing to undertake additional training or education as required by specific states.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness to obtain them.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
