Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, operates Ivy Park at Pleasanton and other communities across California, Nevada, and Hawaii. The Care Provider supports residents with daily living activities and daily care needs to promote independence and quality of life.

We offer a welcoming, patient-focused team environment with training provided. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass background and health screenings in line with company policy.

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per their care plan.
• Respond promptly to resident needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in resident condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with staff and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident�s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
