Job summary

Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers in Connecticut to provide non-medical in-home support and companionship to seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, personal care, light housekeeping, and transport to appointments.

Requirements include 18+ years, 6 months caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and reliable transportation. Flexible FT/PT/overnight/live-in shifts are available with training and support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months of caregiving experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing and dressing.
• Help with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments.
• Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation tasks, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day.
