Job summary

Right at Home Southern NH is urgently hiring caregivers to support aging adults in Londonderry, Derry and surrounding NH communities. This in-person role offers flexible part-time or full-time opportunities with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive training.

As a caregiver, you provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, and transportation, using your own vehicle where needed. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and pass necessary background checks.

Qualifications

• LNA, caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
• Comfort with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10–50 lb.
• English literacy for job duties.
• Must pass background checks, health and drug screenings, and references.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and daily living tasks.
• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility as needed.
• Transportation to appointments or errands.
• Support clients to maintain independence.

• Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour weekdays and $20.00-$21.00 per hour weekends depending on experience.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER:

• Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to):
• Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the trash/recycling
• Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
• Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving)
• Provide Companionship to your client (running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store, or just to get some fresh air).
• Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!

Caregiver Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• 18 years old minimum.
• Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10-50/lb.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.
