Job summary

Sevita is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs in a community setting. You will assist with personal hygiene, behavior support, and daily activities while building trust and meaningful relationships.

The role emphasizes empowerment, respect, and promoting participation in community life, with focus on development in budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Training is provided, with a stable team and clear supervision.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
• Support participants to be part of the community and engage in activities.
