Job summary

ComForCare is seeking caring caregivers to support clients in their own homes in Harlingen, Texas. You will perform daily activities, personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and household tasks while providing companionship and respite for families.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and, where applicable in TX, CNA or HHA certification. Prior home-care experience is a bonus, and COVID-19 safety training is provided.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification required for Texas locations.
• Reliable transportation to client homes required.
• Previous caregiver experience in homes or senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
