Job summary

Right at Home Southern NH is urgently hiring caregivers in Bedford, NH to assist aging adults with daily living, grooming and mobility. We offer flexible shifts, pay daily and benefits including CEUs, paid training and PTO. Openings in Bedford from 7AM-7PM with both part-time and full-time options.

Requirements include dementia-related experience or LNA/CNA certification, a valid driver's license, and ability to lift 10–50 lb. In-person work with supportive team and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Must have dementia related experience or be an LNA/CNA.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to transportation.
• Must be 18 years old or older and able to lift 10–50 lb.
• Ability to read, write and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and daily living tasks.
• Help with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility needs.
• Provide transportation to appointments and run errands.

Must have professional dementia related experience or be an LNA, CNA, etc.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour depending on experience.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER:

Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to):

• Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the trash/recycling
• Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
• Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving)
• Provide Companionship to your client (running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store, or just to get some fresh air).
• Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!

Caregiver Requirements:

• Have a valid driver's license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• 18 years old minimum.
• Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10-50/lb.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.
