Job summary

Right at Home in Wilmington, NC is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver for an immediate opening on a schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Friday and alternating weekends to support a female client with daily living activities, meals, light housekeeping and transportation.

You should be dependable, able to transfer, bathe and dress, comfortable with cats, have a valid driver’s license, and be willing to join a caring team offering weekly pay, optional daily pay, PTO and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist with ADLs including transfers, bathing, dressing and incontinence care.
• Comfortable driving and providing transportation to errands and activities.
• Willing to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
• Willingness to care for a cat-included home environment.
• Dependable and able to show up on schedule even with alternating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers, shower, dressing, and comfort care as needed.
• Prepare meals suited to client preferences and dietary needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe home.
• Provide transportation for errands and activities using own or client’s vehicle.
• Support client with mobility and daily living activities while maintaining dignity.

M/T/F and every OTHER Weekend

IMMEDIATE OPENING!!!

Here are the basics:

• Female client

• Assist with ADLs including transfers, shower and dressing and incontinence care

• Meal preparation

• Light housekeeping, including pet care for the cats

• Transportation

• This client is smart, well-traveled and has interesting stories

We are looking for a caregiver who:

• is comfortable assisting with transfers, bathing and dressing

• has a valid driver's license and is willing to provide transportation for the client to errands and activities

• is comfortable with cats and willing to help with pet care

• is able to perform basic housekeeping duties including laundry

• can cook a meal, not just heat something up

• IS DEPENDABLE AND WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISE AND SHOW UP WHEN SCHEDULED
