Job summary

ComForCare Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their own homes in Texas. You will provide companionship, personal care, and basic needs assistance to help clients stay safe and independent in familiar surroundings.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve and help others live their best lives.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CNA license is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and assist with mobility devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence at home.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals and manage household tasks.
• Provide companionship and respite services for families.
• Willing to work flexible shifts (PRN 12 hour mornings).
• Support in documenting care plans and following care instructions.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Shifts:

• PRN 12 hour morning shift

Salary Range:

• $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience
