Job summary

Serengeti Care in Washington state seeks caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support for clients. You will help with daily living activities, hygiene, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, while ensuring comfort and dignity for those served.

Required Medicaid certification and autism experience; lifting ability of 50 lbs and reliable transportation are essential. Non-driver candidates are welcome, and a background check will be conducted.

Note:Experience with Hoyer/sit-to-stand transfers, bed-bound and high-needs clients, 6–10-hour shifts, and split shifts.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide compassionate care & companionship to clients.
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
  • Support clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort and well-being.
  • Be the heart of our mission – bringing joy, comfort, and dignity to those in need.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Applicants must already possess the required Medicaid certification, obtained through previous employment or another approved training program.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Passion for caregiving – We hire for heart and train for skill!
  • Experience working with children on the Autism spectrum is required.
