Job summary

Integral Senior Living in Ventura, CA is hiring a Caregiver to join our team at a senior living community. The caregiver provides hands-on care and emotional support to residents, maintaining a clean, safe home-like environment and promoting independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, keeping resident rooms tidy, and engaging residents in life skills and enrichment activities. CNA preferred; must be 18+ with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Effective communication with Residents and staff
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity and safety
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home like environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities
