Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities, ensure safety, and support a caring community at Oakmont Senior Living. The role emphasizes compassion, communication, and teamwork in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, responding to resident needs, and reporting changes to supervisors, while maintaining dignity and safety in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in elder care is not required but preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and provide care.
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Background check and health screenings including TB tests required.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may apply as per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plans.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while preserving dignity and safety.
• Report any changes in residents' condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Support teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents' independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident's service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
