Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in the Arlington, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Caregiver will assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting safety and comfort in the home. Responsibilities include providing companionship, engaging clients in conversation and activities, and supporting mobility and light exercise as appropriate. The role also involves preparing simple meals, assisting with light housekeeping, and helping with errands or transportation as needed. Caregivers are expected to follow individualized care plans, observe and report changes in clients’ condition, and maintain clear communication with the office team and family members. All care is delivered with respect, patience, and a focus on preserving each client’s independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide hands-on personal care and support with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to offer companionship, build trust, and interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Experience or training in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, or willingness to learn and follow specialized care plans for memory care clients.
• Reliability in following care plans, documenting care provided, and reporting changes in client condition to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with errands and safe mobility within the home and community.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professionalism when supporting clients with diverse physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience as a caregiver, nursing assistant, or in‑home care provider is beneficial.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with car insurance, and ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
