Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's Good Tree community in Stephenville, TX is seeking a dedicated Nursing Aide to support residents with daily living activities, while maintaining dignity and independence. The role is on-site within a combined independent living, memory care and assisted living setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, medications under supervision, transporting residents as needed, and helping to plan or assist with activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in nursing or senior living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and instrumental tasks.
• Assist with medications under supervision and deliver dignified care.
• Escort residents within the building and outdoors as needed.
• Assist with meal setup, service and cleanup.

Nursing Aid Responsibilities Include

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence
• Escorts residents both within the building and outside, as needed
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards
• May assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in nursing or senior living, home health, or similar.
