Job summary

TerraBella Southport is hiring Care Givers to join our community. The Care Giver’s role includes providing hands-on care and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe, home-like environment. We offer 12-hour shifts, full-time hours in a few days, with a two-week rotation so you can plan ahead!

You will work with an amazing team focused on resident-centered care, helping with daily living activities and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with Residents, management, and co-workers.
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating)
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

TerraBella Senior Living is hiring Care Givers to join our community TerraBella Southport!

The Care Giver's role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment. Want to get more out of your week, come work for us... Offering 12-hour shifts, 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am, fulltime hours in only a few days, so you have more time to do the things you need during the week. Schedules available using a base two-week rotation, know the days you're going to work, so you can plan ahead! Working alongside an amazing team, with a culture of collaboration and resident focused care.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities

Position Requirements

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
• High School diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents, management, and co-workers
• Superior customer service skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
