Job summary

Right at Home in Central Oregon is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for seniors, veterans, and disabled adults in Sisters and surrounding areas. This role offers both part-time and full-time schedules, with on-going training and a supportive team.

You may assist with companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, medications reminders, personal care, and mobility support. Prior hospice or dementia experience is a plus, but we train new caregivers.

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience is preferred (but not req'd- we can train you!).
• Reliable transportation is required to travel to client homes.
• A compassionate heart and patient attitude are essential for high-quality in-home care.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to seniors, veterans, and disabled adults.
• Assist with light housekeeping and transportation to appointments.

As a caregiver with Right at Home, you'll provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors, veterans, disabled adults, post-op patients, and elderly individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your tasks might include companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, helping with medications, toileting, hygiene and grooming support, and assistance with dressing. If you have experience in hospice care or with dementia or Alzheimer's support, that's definitely a plus! But we can train you from the ground up.

THIS JOB IS PRIMARILY LOCATED IN SISTERS. THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION. MORE WORK IS AVAILABLE IN REDMOND, BEND, AND SURROUNDING AREAS. We have multiple other clients all around Central Oregon too, in: Redmond, Bend, Prineville, La Pine, Madras, Sisters, Sunriver, Culver, Powell Butte, Crooked River Ranch, Terrebonne, and more.

Must be able to pass extensive background check including motor vehicle records check.
