Job summary

Sevita is hiring for a caregiver to empower individuals with developmental disabilities to live more independently in home and community settings. You’ll build meaningful relationships, show initiative, and support participants in daily activities and community engagement.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least six months in human services or related fields, with strong communication and reliability. A valid driver's license and vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Vehicle: Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with their personal hygiene.
• Support participants who have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants participate in community activities and achieve personal goals.
• Assist with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition as part of development goals.
