Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a caring Care Giver to support residents with daily tasks and personal care in a welcoming home-like environment. You will help with activities of daily living, maintain clean living spaces, and promote safety and dignity for each resident.

The role emphasizes hands-on care, strong communication with residents and team members, and a commitment to enriching residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED; must be 18 years of age.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Residents and co-workers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Participating and assisting residents with activities of daily living (i.e. bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed.
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
