Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, a premier senior living provider, seeks a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and deliver compassionate personal care. The role supports residents' independence within a five-star, values-driven culture.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, prompt responses to resident needs, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards. Training is provided; a high school diploma is required, and 18+ age is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with staff, physicians, residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) per care plan, including eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring and continence.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Report changes of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
