CareBuilders at Home of Contra Costa is looking for compassionate caregivers to provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and dignity in clients' homes. You’ll follow care plans, support daily living activities, and help maintain safety and comfort for seniors and adults with disabilities.

Qualifications

• A compassionate, empathetic attitude — reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and light household tasks.
• TB test within the last 6 months; Current TB screening (within the last 6 months), or willingness to obtain one before your first assignment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (when required), valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance if driving clients or traveling between assignments is required.
• Ability to pass a background check (we use Guardian) and drug screening; Ability to successfully complete all pre‑employment screening requirements, including a background check and drug screening, as permitted by applicable law.
• Commitment to client confidentiality, HIPAA, and our privacy policies.
• California Home Care Aide registration — or willingness to register (we’ll guide you).
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Role
