Brookdale Reno is hiring as a Caregiver to support our memory care community. We offer part-time and full-time roles with AM shift 6am-2pm and weekend availability.

You will help residents with daily living activities and engage them in meaningful conversations, under supervision and in accordance with state regulations. Brookdale provides a full benefits package including health, life, retirement plans, and employee perks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents and recognize individual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.) and support with light housekeeping tasks.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and monitor well-being.
• Completion of training/certification may be required depending on state regulations.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

• Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs, as well as help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.
