Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Caregiver role based in Reno, NV. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, which may include bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and support with mobility and light exercise. Responsibilities also include monitoring wellbeing, following care routines, providing companionship, engaging in conversation and simple activities, and accompanying the individual to appointments or outings as needed. The caregiver will help maintain a clean and organized living space, support medication reminders according to family or clinical guidance, and communicate any changes in health or behavior promptly. The role requires maintaining confidentiality, respecting personal preferences and cultural practices, and collaborating closely with family members on care plans.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in caregiving, home care, or a related support role, with strong skills in assisting with activities of daily living.
• Ability to provide safe mobility support, including help with walking, transfers, and positioning, and to follow basic health and safety practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to offer patient, empathetic, and respectful companionship.
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to detail, with the ability to follow care instructions and report observations clearly.
• Comfort with light housekeeping tasks, simple meal preparation, and maintaining a tidy, safe environment.
• High level of integrity and respect for privacy, with willingness to undergo background checks as requested.
• Availability to work full-time on-site in Reno, NV, with a consistent schedule and occasional flexibility as agreed with the family.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it; prior experience supporting older adults or individuals with health needs is a plus.
