Job summary

Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Care Ramsey is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide daily resident support, assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and safety. You will work closely with nurses and activity staff to deliver holistic care in a warm, respectful environment.

Part-time AM/NOC, PM, and overnight shifts are available. Training is provided; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it is required or encouraged.

Qualifications

Prior caregiver/home health aide/personal care assistant experience preferred but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete training upon hire.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Support residents during mealtimes, recreational activities, and daily routines, ensuring comfort and dignity.
Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights, ensuring safety and attentiveness at all times.
Assist with transferring and positioning residents using proper safety techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized living environment with light housekeeping tasks.
Work alongside nurses, dining and life enrichment staff to coordinate holistic care.

Deliver Compassionate Resident Care:

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Support a Safe & Healthy Environment:

Monitor residents’ health and behavior, and report any changes or concerns to nursing or leadership staff.

Promote Engagement & Well-Being:

Build positive, supportive relationships with residents and families.
Encourage resident participation in social and wellness activities to enhance quality of life.

Collaborate with Team Members:

Work alongside nurses, dining, and life enrichment staff to coordinate and deliver holistic care.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay current on care practices and community updates.

What You Bring to the Table (Besides Your Big Heart)

Experience & Training:

Prior experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or personal care assistant preferred, but not required.
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete training upon hire.

Skills & Qualities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families, and team members.

Dependable and flexible with shift availability (including weekends or holidays as needed).

Physical Requirements:
