Allpro Staffnet, doing business as Allpro Homecare, seeks a compassionate caregiver to join our team providing quality non-medical homecare to veterans. Flexible schedules include Sunday–Saturday shifts, with part-time and full-time opportunities based on client needs.

The role involves companionship, light housekeeping, assistance with transfers and personal care, meal preparation, and reporting to the administrator. We offer benefits and a supportive onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a background check (then every 2 years thereafter).
• State-required SOR and Abuse Registry check (then annually).
• State-required Personal Reference Check.
• State-required 5-year employment history checks.
• 1 year caregiver experience.
• Valid driver’s license/state ID and reliable daily transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Perform housekeeping duties inside clients' homes.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation including cane, walker, wheelchair, or Hoyer Lift as needed.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals with client participation.
• Assist with toileting, including use of bedpan or toilet.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete all duties within the Client Service Plan.

Varying Shifts Available Sunday - Saturday based on the client's need

Duties and Responsibilities May Include (depending on Client Service Plan):

• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Housekeeping
• Assists clients with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair or Hoyer Lift (specific to client)
• Assists clients with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Assists clients with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Report on any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
