Job summary

Sunol Creek Memory Care, part of Agemark Senior Living, in Pleasanton, CA, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for PM shifts. You will support daily living, promote independence, and build meaningful connections with residents and their families.

The role emphasizes patient, personalized care, teamwork, and a positive attitude, with training provided. This position offers a rewarding environment at an Agemark community that values EPIC ACTS principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or memory care is helpful but not required.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Compassionate and patient with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals and other personal needs.
• Encourage residents to remain active and involved in daily routines.
• Provide patient, personalized care that honors each resident's needs and preferences.
• Monitor residents' well-being and report changes promptly.
• Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Engage residents in activities and conversations to create joy.

What You'll Do

• Support Daily Living: Assist residents with dressing, bathing, meals, and other personal needs.

• Monitor Well-Being: Watch for changes in residents' conditions and report concerns promptly.
