Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is seeking a Caregiver to assist a bedbound client in Plainville, CT. The role offers 56 hours per week with options for 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm, and a Tuesday shift from 2pm-10pm.

You will report to the Director of Operations and play a key part in daily personal care and companionship. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders while maintaining safety and dignity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable.
• Answers phone calls for clients when necessary.
• Conversations with patients to provide assurance.
• Observes Universal Precautions.
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping.
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes.
• Light housekeeping.
• Provides medication reminders.
• Meal preparation and clean up.

Summary:

We are looking to hire a Caregiver for a Client in Plainville that needs assistance 7 days a week for a total of 56 hours each week. The schedule can be either 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm. Tuesdays the schedule will be 2pm-10pm. The Caregiver will assist the bedbound client with things like personal care, bathing, dressing assistance and general companionship. This role is needed to start immediately. The Caregiver chosen will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday-Sunday 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm or 10am-6pm, Tuesdays 2pm-10pm
