Job summary

Community Horizons seeks a Caregiving Assistant to support a community member in daily living activities and independence. The role emphasizes compassionate, easygoing interaction and promoting comfort and freedom for the client.

Responsibilities include basic caregiving tasks, mobility assistance, and light meal prep. Compensation starts at $20/hour, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule from 7:30am to 2:30pm. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

• Assist with bladder and bowel care.
• Provide external catheter assistance as needed.

Someone who is easy going and compassionate with others, while promoting their independence, comfort and freedom. This member loves spending time with his dog, working on plans for a new home, and going on trips and adventures. They also use a wheelchair, pivot one-person transfers, and external catheter. If you enjoy easygoing conversation, a friendly pet, and providing ways for members to live an active and engaging life, this could be a perfect fit for you!

Pay: From $20/hour Schedule: M F, 7:30am 2:30pm
