Job summary

A Place At Home is seeking experienced, dependable caregivers who deliver high-quality, relationship-centered care to seniors in their homes. Part-Time | Per diem with flexible scheduling across Newton, Brookline, West Roxbury and surrounding areas.

We value caregivers who show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat clients with dignity and respect. CNA/HHA certification is preferred where applicable, and a valid driver’s license is helpful to cover multiple client locations.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing)
• Experience assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers)
• Comfort working with dementia clients

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care assistance
• Support clients with mobility and transfers
• Assist with medication reminders
• Prepare meals and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Observe and report changes in condition
• Communicate professionally with families and office team

What We’re Looking For

We are hiring caregivers with:

• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing)
• Experience assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers)
• Comfort working with dementia clients
• Strong communication skills with families
• Reliability and professionalism

Requirements

• 1+ year caregiving experience required
• CNA/HHA certification preferred (if applicable in your state)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background check
• TB test (if required)
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients safely
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
