Job summary

Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington is seeking a caregiver to join our team. You will provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and adults in their own homes. Flexible schedule with shifts near your home and companionship, personal care, and wellness services as per care plans.

We offer competitive pay, paid training, a friendly team environment, and opportunities for ongoing training through our HCA University program. Travel to client homes may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant or similar.
• Provide non-medical in-home support with compassion and professionalism.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate with clients, family members and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in the home.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients and family.
• Follow personal care service plans and assist with daily living activities.
• Help keep client environments clean and organized in their home.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect personal care to client’s in the home setting
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
• Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plan
• Help keep the client’s environment clean and organized
• Remind client to take self-administered medications

Home Care Assistance is strongly considering candidates with previous experience as a CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
