Leisure Living - Cascade Trails Senior Living seeks a Med Tech Caregiver to provide comfort, safety, and supervision for residents, assisting with daily living tasks and medication administration. The role emphasizes learning residents' preferences and collaborating with the care team to support wellness goals.

Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, documenting all actions, assisting with activities, and maintaining clean, safe environments.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment, with a capacity to master company specific software.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Review incoming medication physician orders for accuracy. Update eMAR accordingly.
• Partner with residents to provide needed/requested assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the residents’ service plans.
• Answer resident call lights, as well as door and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe and report resident behavior and condition changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to ensure adequate supply is available.
• Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Participate in training new employees as requested.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule.

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for providing comfort, safety and general supervision to residents by assisting them with activities of daily living, administering medications and tending to their individual care needs, while learning their unique preferences and personalities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments
• Review incoming medication physician orders for accuracy. Update eMAR accordingly
• Partner with residents to provide needed/requested assistance with activities of daily living as outlined in the residents’ service plans
• Answer resident call lights, as well as door and safety alarms promptly

• Clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directed
• Assist with meal set up and clean up as needed or requested
• Participate in or lead activities as planned by Life Enrichment. Assist and remind residents to participate in activities
• Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
• Remain awake and alert while on shift

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education and Experience

High school diploma/GED is required.

Certificates and Licenses
