A senior care organization in Merrick, NY is seeking a CAREGiver to provide companionship and assist seniors with daily tasks. Ideal candidates care for others with dignity and respect, possess a valid driver’s license, and are ready to commit to ongoing training. This role offers a supportive culture and opportunities for advancement.

Formación

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end of life.
• Possess a valid driver's license, social security card, and valid auto insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide incidental transportation to and from appointments.
• Medication assistance and/or reminders.
• Alzheimer’s Care.

Caregiver Skills And Qualifications

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to work with clients receiving Hospice care or at end of life
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• Complete Background Check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license, social security card and valid auto insurance
