Job summary

Right at Home Southern NH is hiring caregivers to support aging adults in Manchester, NH. We offer a flexible schedule, part-time or full-time hours, and paid time off with room to grow through training and development.

Caregivers perform personal care, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation assistance. A valid driver's license and English communication are required, along with background checks and health screenings. Locations are in-person at client sites.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.
• Able to lift 10–50 lb.
• 18 years old minimum.
• Have reliable transportation to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping (mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes).
• Assist with hygiene (toileting, bathing, oral care).
• Assist with daily living tasks (mobility, meals, dressing).
• Provide companionship and transportation to appointments or errands.

We are rapidly growing and have a number of opportunities to work with aging adults in your area to provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and companionship.

Bonus points if you have one of the following:

• LNA, Caregiving or Healthcare experience

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour weekdays and $19.00-$20.00 per hour weekends depending on experience.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER:

Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to):

• Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the trash/recycling
• Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
• Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving)
• Provide Companionship to your client (running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store, or just to get some fresh air).
• Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!

Caregiver Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• 18 years old minimum.
• Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10-50/lb.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.
