SYNERGY HomeCare is seeking a caring Home Care Aide to support seniors in Porter Ranch and nearby areas. This role offers flexible part-time shifts and a chance to help clients stay safe and independent at home.

You’ll work one-on-one with clients, providing companionship, basic personal care, and support with daily activities. The position emphasizes reliability, empathy, and independence, with opportunities for paid training and supportive office staff.

Qualifications

• California HCA registration or ability to obtain.
• Live Scan/background clearance required.
• Current TB clearance or ability to obtain.
• Reliable transportation to work in Porter Ranch.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance when required.
• CPR/First Aid certifications are a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and safe walking assistance.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed.
• Give medication reminders and monitor changes in condition.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation as required.

What You’ll Help With

Depending on the client, your responsibilities may include:

• Companionship and conversation

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Walking, mobility, and transfer support

• Meal preparation

• Medication reminders

• Light housekeeping and laundry

• Transportation and errands

• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition

What We’re Looking For

We’re especially interested in caregivers who are:

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable with hands-on personal care

• Experienced in senior or in-home care

• Professional with clients and families

• Able to work independently in a client’s home

• Able to reliably commute to Porter Ranch

Basic Requirements

• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration, or ability to obtain
