Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, via its Ivy Living brand, is hiring a Care Provider for the Studio City community. The role includes overnight hours (10:00pm-6:00am) with a pay range of $19.00-$20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities center on assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting independence, in a culture built on compassion and teamwork. Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to complete background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per care plan: eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence.
  • Respond promptly to residents' needs while protecting dignity and safety.
  • Report changes in residents' condition to supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a safe, secure environment and follow safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork and cooperation with staff and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents’ independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company’s mission and values.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident’s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
  • Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
  • Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
  • Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
Qualifications
  • Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skillsStrong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
  • Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
  • For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
