Brookdale in Lake Charles, LA is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide direct resident care including activities of daily living and personal care. Opportunities include CNA/STNA and Medication Technician roles with advancement and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Caregivers provide direct care to residents, recognize individual needs, encourage independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care needs.
• Help residents with housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping and dishes.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
• Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification may be required.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.
