Job description

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

Are you a dedicated caregiver who is tired of the gig-economy grind? If you are a professional who takes pride in your craft and wants to work for an organization that values your expertise, professional development, and long-term career growth, then join Senior Helpers of Keller.

Professional Development & Specialized Training: We provide elite, industry-recognized training in Senior GEMS® (dementia care) and our specialized Parkinson’s Care Program. Elevate your skills and become a specialist in high-demand areas of senior care.

Competitive Compensation & Stability: We offer pay commensurate with your experience and certifications, backed by the stability of a professional W-2 employer—no contract work, no uncertainty.

Support-First Culture: We believe that for you to take care of others, you must be taken care of. You will have a responsive office team that provides the tools, PPE, and clear communication you need to succeed.

Work-Life Balance: We offer flexible scheduling to fit your life, team support, and the deep satisfaction of knowing you are making a measurable impact in your community.

WHAT YOU DO

Client-Centered Advocacy: You are the eyes and ears for our clients. You will provide non-medical care including companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and ADL assistance (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect.

Communication & Documentation: Maintain detailed care logs, report client changes to the office immediately, and ensure your services remain in full compliance with HIPAA and electronic visit verification (EVV) standards.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with the office staff to provide the "Senior Care, Only Better" experience. You’ll be the person the family relies on for peace of mind.

Reliability: Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to engage in recreational activities, conversations, and tasks that improve our clients' quality of life.

WHO YOU ARE

Experienced Caregiver: You must have at least 1 year of professional caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, nursing, or a similar senior care setting. We are looking for caregivers who understand the responsibilities of providing quality, compassionate care and are ready to deliver a high standard of service.

A Professional with Purpose: You’ve spent time in home care, assisted living, or nursing, and you know that your work is a craft, not just a series of tasks. You are looking for a place where your skills are honed, your voice is heard, and your professional growth is a priority.

Tech-Ready & Adaptable: You are comfortable using digital tools to manage your schedule and care documentation. You see technology as a way to spend more time focusing on your clients and less time on administrative friction.

An Empathetic Problem-Solver: You take immense pride in the quality of your work. You follow a care plan with precision while maintaining the independence to make compassionate, real-time decisions that make a client’s day brighter.

Reliable & Driven: You value your own reputation for excellence. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and pre-employment screenings. A valid Texas driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance are required.
