Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Ozarks provides in-home care services to seniors in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, Battlefield, Rogersville and Willard. We employ caregiver volunteers who offer companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands and more to help seniors live independently at home.

The role includes personal care support such as dressing, grooming, mobility assistance and memory care, with a focus on compassionate, reliable service and professional communication with our office

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship.
• Assist with light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc...
• Shopping and errands.
• Meal preparation.
• Medication reminders.
• Pet care.
• Light yard work.
• Light handyman services.
• Overnight supervision.
• Incidental transportation to doctor's appointments, family, or their favorite restaurant.
• Assist with dressing.
• Assist with feeding.
• Assist with showering / bathing.
• Mobility assistance.
• Assist with toileting / incontinence.
• Memory care.
• Arrive on time for all services.
• Caregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.
• Maintain documentation of all services provided.
• Record and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staff.
• Communicate regularly and proactively with our office staff.
• Participate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meeting when possible.
• Clock in and out using our care management system.

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include:
