Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Savannah Beaufort County is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide non-medical support and companionship in the homes of seniors in the Savannah area. The role focuses on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and fostering social interaction.

The caregiver will assist with daily activities, transportation, meal prep, and light housekeeping, while ensuring safety and dignity for clients. Training is provided, and experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Certification in CNA, or PCA (Recommended).
• Must be an older adult with life experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Have a cell phone and personal email account for communication purposes.
• Fluent in conversational English.
• Weekdays availability preferred, in addition to weekends.
• Reside in the Savannah or surroundings area for easy access to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to senior clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and meal preparation.
• Provide pet care, minor housekeeping, and transportation as needed.
