Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Hendersonville, TN is seeking an In-Home Caregiver to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. You’ll provide personal care, companionship, and practical support tailored to each client’s needs.

You’ll work one-on-one with clients, assist with daily activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while maintaining open communication with supervisors and keeping environments safe and respectful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one month of healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance that allows clients to remain safely at home.
• Helping with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
• Assisting with mobility, including walking, transfers, and range-of-motion activities.
• Providing medication reminders and keeping your supervisor informed of important client observations or concerns.
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Encouraging meaningful social interaction through conversation, games, reading, puzzles, hobbies, and other activities clients enjoy.
