Job summary

Discovery Management Group is seeking a Caregiver to enrich the lives of seniors in a welcoming, home-like community setting in Frisco, TX. You will provide hands-on personal care, maintain safety, and foster meaningful connections with residents.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-focused service and teamwork with a dedicated care team to support daily living and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for designated group of residents during shift, ensuring whereabouts and safety.
• Assist with daily personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, eating.
• Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
• Promote independence with dignity, safety, and well-being.
• Keep resident rooms and work areas clean and organized.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and enrichment programs.
• Notify supervisor or health care coordinator if care needs increase.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Role:

As the Caregiver , your role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse’s Aid (CNA) certification preferred
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
