Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider to support residents in a premier senior living community. Shifts include 2-10pm with additional Fri-Sat coverage, located in California.

You will assist with daily living activities, maintain safety, and collaborate with team members to deliver compassionate care. We value teamwork and a commitment to resident independence, with benefits including health coverage, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening including TB tests.
• COVID-19 safety protocols may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in ADLs per care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Notify supervisor of any observed changes in residents' condition.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with coworkers and other departments.

The Care Provider is responsible for providing personal assistance and daily care and services related to the residents in order to enhance the residents� independence and quality of life, in accordance with the company�s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents in their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as specified in the resident�s service and care plan. This includes eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring (walking), and continence.
• Respond to residents' needs promptly while maintaining residents' self-respect, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments

Qualifications:

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
