Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor patient health.
• Ensure patient safety and report changes to supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Monitor and record patient temperature and ambulation.
• Conduct simple ROM exercises and light activities.
• Maintain care documentation and follow protocols.
• Follow privacy and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship, including letter-writing and reading.

What We're Looking For

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a PCA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
