Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care of Newnan GA is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support across Coweta and neighboring counties. You’ll assist with daily activities, offer companionship, and monitor safety while traveling between client homes in the Newnan area.

The role offers flexible shifts (4–8 hours), paid training, and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience preferred; compassionate, dependable candidates with transferable experience encouraged to apply.
• CNA or PCA or willingness to obtain certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client homes.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong communication and reliability.
• Ability to assist with lifting, walking, and daily care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with mobility, transfers, and safety monitoring
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying)
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical)
• Document care and report changes in condition

We serve clients across: Coweta, Fayette, Heard, Meriwether, Troup, Spalding, and Carroll counties (More hours available for caregivers willing to travel across our service area)
