Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring CAREgivers to brighten lives at home for seniors in North Carolina. You’ll provide personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation support, all while offering companionship and safety-focused assistance.

Qualifications

• 6 months caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts)
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs
• Support safe mobility and transfers using aids (hoyer lifts, gait belts)
• Perform homemaking tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep
• Provide companionship and dementia care as needed
• Run errands and provide transportation support for clients

Your Role as a CAREgiver:

• Personal Support: Help with daily grooming, hygiene, and toileting needs

What We Need from You:

• Heart for Caring: Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude
• Experience: 6 months of caregiving experience preferred (family experience counts!)
• Reliability: Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physical Strength: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform necessary movements
